If you haven't read or watch the movie Koe No Katachi (A Silent Voice) you should definitely watch/read it. And anything directed by Mamoru Hosoda are awesome too.
Oh wait sorry, Mamoru Hosoda works are all movies but I don't know if it has manga adaptation, but if you like movies, try them out as well.
Oyasumi punpun, it's dark but provokes a lot of thought. I also recommend Koe no Katachi but the manga version has a lot more content than the film. Mushishi is nice and contemplative, akin to old folklore.
In terms of anime, maybe Violet Evergarden or Garden of Words. Kino no Tabi (2003) gets deep with its philosophies.

Hello, can anyone recommend mangas with deep and meaningful/beautiful storylines. Maybe something similar to the works of Sahara Mizu or maybe something poignant like 5cm per second. Anything that can evoke such emotions. Can be one shots as well, as long as the story made an impact on you
