She is more in the delusional plus idiotic in one package!! Even when she had been told by ruri that she hate her, she still in denial and doesnt want to believe!! Very annoying (︶︿︶)＝凸 and think that ruri become hate her bcz the black hair man brain washing ruri to hate her (very stupid)!!
I think kinda both but just that Asahi doesn't realize herself. Like the famous quote, "love is blind" well she takes that very extreme and she has spoiled raised childhood that she never have rejected thing or something that she wants. Well, there is a reason why many followers become idiot for asahi due to her power.

she still denied after a war that was their first meeting suppose happened and MC bold told her about the situation and that Asahi are an idiot to let people toy Asahi blind to her surround.
She was upset when Ruri told her that she hates her. Then Asahi blames king for brainwash her "bff" that she don't even care about other people (followers) who fell with her.
So i would say both that she don't give an f..k other people since she only wants ruri but she is an idiot in some way which that why she able to cause situation worse in novel with war.
Is Asahi a white lotus or is she just really stupid?
