Well I understand your POV but this manga has settled in Korea which is one of the most conservative country. I’m from east Asia, too so I kinda get why his parents involved themselves into their affair. If you have watched some K- series. You’d realize how much parents want to involve almost everything in their children life. Even now, old gen still think divorce is kinda embarrassing towards family. Instead of remarried a new partner whom they don’t know, it’s much better to get back with the previous one (especially they got the same social status).
Back to manga, I’m certain if parents “knew” his misbehavior, they’d never treat him well.
