it looked like he was dating the main character to get over the other girl and was almost succeeding but then he abandons her at the festival to escort the other girl home when she feels unwell. not only that, but he even tries to kiss her when he thinks she's asleep, which shoujo mangas think is cute but to me is just creepy, and gross (because she is sick with fever). the basketball guy is so much sweeter but i'm afraid about him losing. ><
