In LIAI universe, bonding isn't represented physically as simply 'an act of an alpha biting an omega's nape while in heat'. I actually like that aspect of LIAI very much. In LIAI bonding happens when an omega and an alpha are actually close and sub-conciously and emotionally resonate with each other. That is to say they bond only when their hearts deem that they are their life-partner. It doesn't happen to everyone. You dont even have to be married to each other for it to happen. Its simply shown as something that happens naturally, if its meant to be. Dojun didn't get used to his married life with Chowon and distanced himself by staying out of the house. Probably Dojun being uncomfortable with Chowon is the main reson why they didn't bond. Besides bonding in LIAI is not something very common, it happens but its not mandatory for a pair to be bonded to be married for life.

I read that chap lyk 2-3 times bcz it made an impression on me.. LIAI was going on the very typical yaoi track and then there was that chap, it brought back my interest in the story and gave that story a distinguished facet among all other omegaverse mangas.. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Is it just me who is curious about why Dojun and Chowon never bonded.. like I know the omega is a psycho b**ch but did he know that when they got married? And how could Dojun resist Chowons pheromones when chowon was in heat??
