Pretty sure she doesn't know his real name. He's not a reincarnation or anything like that. I'm not sure she even meant for him to come from the real world. That wouldn't make any sense.
But thats the Story isnt it? He is a normal dude from korea who went into this other universe/ Time etc....
And i guess he really thinks that he is from South Korea as he is written to be from there.. only his body is from that time.. also they dont know that they are her creation, they all think that they are real people
So i guess in a sense he thinks that he is from the real Korea and I guess the Korea in her Story is the same as the real one.. that is why he knew what an americano is..
