I don’t think so... if this was the main story why would this have only 5.5 chapters when the other has over 20??? I could be wrong though

Yes it is
At first it was supposed to be about Kensuke and Hasekura but then Kousuke and Masahiro came and stole the spotlight in both the anime and manga
Though I'm not complaining.
I love seeing Kousuke and Masahiro (≧∀≦)

I don't think so. But this is the prequel of hitorijime my hero. This is just a short story about kensuke and hasekura. But the real main characters are setagawa and the brother.
