The ending was sad, with Kyon talking about dying and leaving Lucaon. This while whole time I was hoping Lucaon would turn Kyon into a royal blood. It's not like it can't be done (it was shown) and it might be risky but it still has chances to succeed (like it did with Sihan) and then they could stay together and be happy!
