Usually it’s better when the age gap is bigger...me and my older sister are like dogs and cats because we have a one year gap, quite similar to the case with my younger sister ... however that’s not the case for my 2 youngest siblings
I disagree I'm super close with my younger siblings and they're 1 and 2 years apart from me- admittedly we fight more frequently but at LEAST we interact. I hardly talk to my oldest or older brother and the age gap is 9 and 11 years
Like cats and dogs means we fight a lot. However I won’t be able to relate to you because I’m the second oldest of my siblings with one year age gap with the oldest so I don’t know how it feels to have siblings that are much older. So the one closest to me in age is my eldest sister.
I’m the youngest in my family and im closest to the second youngest (5 years difference) but when he was going through puberty he used to ignore me because it was ‘embarrassing’ to hang out with your little sister lmao

Honestly, it's the same for me. I'm the oldest and have a younger brother with a 2 year age gap. We fight often, and we have these rare "getting along" moments sometimes. I don't see him much anymore as he locks himself in his room and plays Fortnite.
I want to know the ages between the MC and her brother. Not for anything inappropriate (that'd be disgusting), but because I find it interesting. (Some siblings are closer than others depending on the age gap).
