yes she said he's dead because she wanted to protect hi, from get killed yet yeagers wanted to shoot his head just to make sure he's really dead, that's why hanji got mad at them, and also rushed to the river when she/he (aka hanji) got the chance WITH levi, so why hanji bother take Levi with her/him if he's really dead?
