Because people like Eiji are not understanding and wouldn't believe them and resort to violence again... And he helped Miya so that Miya and Eiji would break up because Miya doesn't deserve to be beaten smh!!!
Well, I guess you guys have a point. Eiji is a piece of work. I just hope he doesn't hurt Miya by giving him (at least in the beginning) false hope.
I like that he helps him but why can't he answer to Eiji "Because he is my friend"? Instead he declares they are going out? That was fast. Poor Miya:D
