Look. I like feminine characters. Sanghee dont need to fight. There are plenty of feminine characters that are equally exciting and cunning in their own stories. Example. Raeliana, Doctor Elise, Survive as the Hero's wife, Miss not so sidekick. They have a role in shaping their world, LIKE A MAIN CHARACTER SHOULD and none of them Wield a Sword! 134 chapters in.... And Sanghee's upgrade was to become a convenient battery for magic men who still Have Not changed a Single thing towards how they treat women!!! remember, these princes treat other women apart from Sanghee as baby factories and nothing more. and yet nothing is done to combat that in the slightest other than being a dog. I know it takes time to change in such an oppressive regime. But what i find Unacceptable is the fact that the author keeps putting these horrible characters in a positive lighting. There's nothing "hot" or "adorable" about systemic sexism and enslaving women as cattle. And yet there are fanservice about the princes for fans to rage their hormones over.
For example, you can see the fans liking the King... but have they all forgotten that the King has a harem of wives and neglected (possibly executed) daughters?
Same for the brothers who use their powers, even a whip on slaves and subduing women. And we have the typical fans going "Tee Hee, the prince is so tsundere~", just because they are drawn as good looking.
It is not treating anything seriously and thus makes this manhwa shallow and braindead. And now she's gonna be passed from one dude to the next as a trophy as she becomes a damsel in distress, kidnapped by many people.
Seriously, does she even have any impact on her story anymore? She's worse than a background character when all she does is act cute, act like a dog and curry up to the princes and guards by praising them. Oh and occasionally forgetting all her priorities for Jinsu. Author needs to know being feminine does not mean being a doormat for other characters to wipe their feet on. Seriously at this rate, being in an oppressive regime is just an excuse to hide the fact that author doesnt want women to have any real power.
The recent chapters have potential to FINALLY give her an interesting story arc with badass strategy...(potential because most of it seems like comic relief and she hardly does anything, once again... Even her discovery of the book on equality "somehow" turned into a cookbook for "comedy")
Who cares if its chpt 90 I find this hilarious and is enjoying this, it probably sucks if it ended too fast or its action after action (plots), plus if you think from the webtoon artists' point of view its probs pretty hard to come up with new chapters weekly
