I didn’t really get it,can someone explain it to me more

i don't really get it either

spoilers (for those of you who havent read it yet)















Basically Motoharu comes from a rich family and a successor of a well known clinic. He meets Akira who was looking at the flowers in garden and took interested in them. That when Motoharu fell in love for Akira due to his cute innocent smile. They became childhood friends.
As they got older. Motoharu confessed but then rejected by Akira. Motoharu couldn't let go of Akira so he went to the same University and majored in same department. However they became distanced. It was Akira idea to Make up and that when Akira kissed Motoharu while walking home together. That made Motoharu believe he still have hope. Something happen....

** Near the end. they did fall for each other and confessed everything. Akira told Motoharu that his family did arrange marriage with a girl who is from a high class family after Akira graduate University (decided when he was young). He doesnt want to shame his family. Akira and Motoharu do it and cuddle together.

***Akira did get married to her. Motoharu is doing his own thing.
Years later, Akira died. Motoharu got older and works at the lab. That's Beginning to the next series starts Hana no mizo Shiru. Turns out Motoharu is the old man (in Hana no Mizo Shiru) and Misaki is Akira's grandson. They work together. Hana no Mizo Shiru is Misaki's love story.

This a prequel.
