Not that I necessarily disagree, but it makes sense in this one actually. I mean, ALL characters are douchebags here... They all have the moral compass of a disoriented, stab happy, demonic kitten. (￣∇￣")
Um... I could agree in other stories, but did you read this one. ALL the characters, regardless of gender, are shady af. The Princess is manipulative and ruthless. So is her brother. Even the Dragon is sketchy as he makes out with an unconscious Sul.
Is there a single saint in this story? Nadan seems like a prick. Sul is the most sympathetic because he is mostly a powerless servant who is trying his best to get out of this corrupt system. At least he's fighting, but even he's had to do shady stuff to survive.
Sorry ALL the characters are some degree of a**hole in this story. They have to be. Nice people die fast in that world.
