I'm new to this. The live action had piqued my interest because wang yibo (lan zhan) is so beautiful. So here I am for the manga. Can someone please tell me what is the way to fully enjoy this. I mean which one should I start first? Manga, anime, novel, live action? Any suggestion? Also can I know current episode of the live action?

I also interest to venture more in this story because of live action. For me,I read manga along with the live action which is currently episode 16 with english sub. Then,if I have a really spare time,I will read the novel to understand thoroughly.

For me,the difference of manga and live action is their concept and they altered the story bit by bit which will be a little confusing for me

Thanks for the suggestion. I heard all adaptions are different for the original novel. So I don't know which one I should go first.

I would say the manhua is the closest adaptation to the novel

For me, i started with the anime and was so amazed with the graphics and fall in love with their image/drawing, then I read the manhua but has slow update as of the moment( but here I am patiently waiting for their update soon).. so I proceed with the novel! And you will never regret reading it. It will let you experience all kinds of feeling from up to down.Specially now that your famillar with their voices and image, it will make you feel like your watching the anime inside your mind.

I found the anime first and became OBSESSED ... so I then read the manga, then the novel. I'm a visual person, so I found it nice "seeing" the characters before reading the novel, but I think you can start the novel, anime or manga interchangeably. The live action still has the basic concept of MDZS, but it strays furthest away from the original story so I'd consume that last. Enjoy!

I personally think that the best way to properly appreciate this series is to read the translations of the original novel lol This manhua adaption is amazing too, and is really doing it justice. I, myself, got into this series from the novel, so I may be biased haha But it is what I would recommend, especially when theres so many ways to follow the series!

Heres the link to the first chapter!

I've read the novel, the manga, watched the anime and I'm hooked on Untamed. Yes they are all different in some ways, and because of that I would say go to the novel for the best understanding of what's happening. However, each has a little different take and they are all good in their own rights. But I LOVED the novel and it certainly gives a far more indepth look at the relationship with Lan Wanji and Wei Wuxian.

Is the difference in the live action too big? If so, then I guess I better go for it last.

Thank you for the suggestions y'all. ヾ(☆▽☆)So I better read the novel first to understand everything then go for the live action last. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
