The demons won't care if they are criminals or humans, they'll snatch them right there and now, and no one wants to look for all those criminals, plus what are the kids of the criminals..should they suffer the same fate of being eaten JUST because they have criminals as parents. Ratri is retarded and I hope he suffers miserably.
The demons just snatch them because Ratri friends wont follow him, so he had to call the demons just in case they wont listen to him and grab everyone who has higher ups position. So technically if their friends agree they can discuss about which humans should they send. Yeah the last part about kids you’re right they dont deserve it but the parents who are criminals does... maybe thats why after sending a few humans they should really think a need plan to defeat the demons not just let it go... yes i know Ratri is retarded and i agree he should suffer too but to tell the truth at that time it was actually a pretty good decision rather than sending thousands of soldiers to war and none of them came back and still have nothing to solve...

True but at that time they just eat whatever humans to survive maybe after a few comparisons they know which taste better. So the first batch of humans are criminals to us but not to the demons so they wont actually know. But some criminals are actually smart not all of them are dumb and the demons can educated the future generations of humans that is the criminals or u can say the one that handles that are the Ratri clans which came back to square one that he is a bad guy...

Like i said obviously Ratri is bad and the author makes it that he’s the cause of the problem, he’s the bad guy, he’s the one who do it, he’evil! But just saying in another view he do it for a reason. Its another isabelle story they just do it to survived! I see all the nanny helping them sacrifice the children but no one bats an eye because they just “pawn” they “have to do it to live” “they have no choice”, isnt Ratri is the same??? Ya Ratri was desperate he did what he could it's in the past you can't change it but what you said about sending criminals there: it won't work. Sure they might have sent over criminals in the beginning but you think they just ate the first cattle. Obviously not. They made them reproduce. Those innocent children aren't "criminals". It's not the fact that it was a good or bad idea. It's the point that kids are being made to be eaten and the the circumstances they are put into.
Yeah i know the demons will make them reproduce to make more food and the children is innocent they didnt do anything wrong and thats the situation now. I was just thinking when i read the manga like if im in Ratri situation what do i do? thats why when i think about sacrificing some criminals it’ll help to save humanity.
But a question tho isnt Ratri future generations innocents too? Because ratri and his future generation were force to stay in the position between the demon and humans. Just because Ratri is evil. Doesnt mean his children is the same as him. Maybe they do it for the same reason to survive, like your parents have a big debt and you need to continue paying it non stop even your future generations need to continue paying it.
i know Ratri betrayed his friends but tbh offering a part of human is not a bad idea like you can offer criminals, because some criminals will be punished to death anyway so why not use that? You will only offer some bad people and can save thousands and millions of lives right. But at that time with humanity weapons and power idk they will be wiped out sooner or later. Gosh idk what happen to me for some reason im on Ratri side like he just want to live man... he really desperate... and at least he tried something new and crazy rather than his friends who just kept doing the same thing and sacrifice hundreds of soldiers again... i know i sound evil but i cant help it... btw i agree Ratri made a bad decision but in a way each have their own pros and cons...
