I'm not sure if somebody has already mentioned it (again, I haven't been here in a while) but the banner for this series was changed to something that's basically a copy of John Everett Millais' Ophelia with Hyung as Ophelia. I haven't thought about the possible meaning behind it yet but maybe somebody else can figure something out based on it.
Great theory!! There’s never too much reading into with these kind of manhua. What I want to add to what you wrote is, that maybe the real face of the flower head is hyunjin and there all breaks of his personality
Random short theory is that somehow rose makes actual people into puppets, and he was doing all this to make doyoung his puppet.....
I noticed it too! (and saved that image cause hyung is looking damn fine in it)... I just mumbled to myself "guess jin... will drown his sorrows?" *ba dum tss*
Well Ophelia becomes insane and dies when Hamlet leaves her because he's got better things to do (ie. killing her father)... So maybe Hyung will go insane and kill himself because he feels that Doyoung is overthinking the situation and isn't paying enough attention to him?
Or the author simply though the picture fitted the theme?
I read the last 10 chapters today and I'm still convinced that the real one is blue haired guy and that's why Flowerhead didn't kill him or that all of they simply represent different parts of his personalities.
However, I'm also starting to believe that maybe Hyung was never a real person to begin with. Maybe Flowerhead created that guy to lure him into the hotel. Maybe every Hyung we see now was created for someone else. They all had their memories replaced but since their personalities weren't completely erased they react differently. Doyoung now has to find *his* Hyung for whatever reason.
But that's just an idea. I'm not convinced right now that this is the most likely explanation.
There's one more thing that seems odd to me. In chapter 3 he's wondering about Hyung's clothing because he's constantly wearing several layers at once. And he really always wears several layers. It did fit into the scene but in my opinion, it seems like an odd thing to pay attention to. Could be a hint that he has a connection to Flowerhead but I'm probably just reading too much into it.
