Them being in their 20s fit with the barber's 4 years of experience and the office man's constant tiredness towards his job (he could still be getting used to his responsibilities) but yeah.. the protagonists do seem to be drawn as more mature men by the author, maybe that's her aesthetic

You may be right. The way she draws her characters must be her way to distinguish herself from other authors. I quite like the way she draws them because they are so unique and different from other drawings I've seen so far in the BL world.
