It's actually interesting that you say that, because I've always thought there's something sketchy and mysterious about Hak. I mean think about it, here's a NORMAL man who is an orphan (mystery #1), who managed, through no action of his own to be in close relations with the 2 most important political figures of his times (Mystery #2), and who, despite supossedly having no supernatural powers of his own, is still stronger than all of Kouka's generals, stronger than all the 5 stars of Xing, and on par with the four dragons that have the powers of the GODS (Mystery #3). I mean, what gives! I'm waiting to be told any moment now that Hak has some sort of cosmic destiny or something. I mean, he has to be at least the shield or the sword in Yona's prophecy, otherwise his massive strength makes no sense whatsoever. It's like this huge Deus Ex Machina plot device when everything else in this manga is so carefully crafted. I need the answer to this! （/TДT)/
Even Zeno says there's something weird with Hak's strength after Hak hits him the first time they meet.

Hak is monstrusly strong, equal to the four and have no trouble for win on the enemy.
even Woon regret is force because form him Hak is the strongest.

I am glad to see someone raising this huge mystery no one seems to have get a hold of really. I guess everyone took for granted the fact Hak is the strongest Human in pair with the Four Dragon ( I mean Its rings some bells for me )and It s totally normal.
But I always thought too there was some reasons to his unnatural strenght, and sometimes I wonder if the recurrent joke the author came with of Dark ( or Black idr ) Dragon’s surname the crew gave to Hak is more than just a joke and maybe a real hint Hak is more than a normal human.
Anyway I hope it will be answered. If Hak’s mystery strength stay a Deus Ex Machina until the end it would be kinda disappointing...
