He was right in those points. He was wrong in the manner he said it. And how a thing is said makes a huge difference. He could just as easily have educated her and helped set up a tank. He did nothing but criticize.

1. you are sure you have enough time
2. you know what your animal needs and will die from
3. you know where and under what circumstances it was kept until then
