I do this with my ex and his family. I was invited to his wedding too when he eventually got married. His mum and I still go for coffee.... As I write this I realise why that's weird

It depends on the case. But my bro and his ex parted on very bad terms, even so after a year she is still obsessed with him. To the point of stalking his new gf

No it's ok. His wife is very pleasant with me, were not best friends but we're not enemy's. And I don't show up to birthdays and family events so she has no reason to be threatened by me, I mean no harm and she knows this haha
