... If you really feel strongly that way, and really are offended by the events in the story - why are you still reading it? (And if you start claiming to having dropped it, why are you still commenting in this section?)
If I don't like the story, I drop it. I do not leave any trace of my presence in that manga/manhua/manhwa's section.
There were circumstances in the story that were negative - and some view it as rape, others did not (why? in most part, there was consent). But it was part of the story's plot that the author created. It was used to show the characters' development - how DG got stronger, how Jiwon changed and conveyed his regret.
This is fiction. And even in several classical literature - rape, and other negative elements have been included - like in the Greek mythology about Persephone, and other stories relating to Zeus (who most often seems to go around either seducing women, or forcing/raping them, hey, I don't see any consent in any of the stories). The real story about Sleeping Beauty (by Charles Perrault, not Disney), also had rape.
My point is - this is a fictional story. Stories have elements that are used by writers to complete their tale. It does not mean the author, nor the readers, condone such acts.
But it's just a fictional story! You can't take it as if this were real. Of course people are fangirling over them, it's a yaoi where the protagonist went from an asshole to a sweet puppy lol you HAVE TO consider the context. If it were real life people probably would've reacted differently
Rape...hmmm. That is questionable in this story. I believe I know what you are referencing to but it was the toy part that made people uncomfortable. Ho was it rape? I genuinely believe that word is so saturated people will label almost anything rape.
There wasn't just the sex toys episode (which yes, actually it's considered rape cause dg was crying and begging him to stop) but I think they also referring to chap 25 where jiwon fucked him with a dildo and his dick at the same time and dg was very suffering

Either some didn't bother to truly read this story or didn't comprehend this story. Jiwon was always loving and caring. His first lover is what fucked him up. His family fucked him up so he turned ice to protect himself. It took DG to realize he could still love. He thawed his heart slowly until it went back to his true heart. Not saying he will ever be the same but he has definitely realized this is true love and his heart can relax. There is growth of course but he always had that in him just locked away to protect himself. He realizes that there is someone to him now so precious so vital so essential so special that he will put them first and protect him. Something no one ever had done for him. Jiwon is amazing because no one is perfect and because he is so utterly in love he feels safe and can be his real self.
