I'm pretty sure you won't find something that tops Ashita Shinu in terms of tragedy, but you could try "Sabita Yoru Demo Koi Wa Sasayaku", "Hakidame to Tsuru", "Lonely To Organdy", "500-nen No Itonami", maybe "Sora o Daite Oyasumi" but it's canceled so no real ending, and "Sorekara, Kimi wo Kangaeru".
