I can totally see what you mean about the FL's personality not making any sense, but I actually am exactly like her and can give some insight to the contradiction. For me even though I can be timid or don't really want to attract attention, sometimes you don't feel like you're under a spotlight in places with a lot of people or just in passing so its not hard to handle even if you don't like attention. When people make comments to me personally about my appearance it can be draining and uncomfortable but its also not enough to make me want to change the way I look.
I totally agree with u becoz I am like that too. I too like to dress up but I became really uncomfortable when I get attention. Most people's mindset is like that if someone dresses up then they do that to get attention but they don't know the thing called self satisfaction or confidence we feel while doing that.
I actually identify with the FL. I used to dress very moderately and it was usually very plain colors so I would blend in. When I got to college, I started to expand my wardrobe and explore my fashion sense. But then people started to looking at me more and I really didn't like the attention. It was uncomfortable af. For a little while I toned it down, but I missed my trendy clothes. Thats when I decided that I had to stop dressing for others and wear what I liked. It still sucks because people still notice me, but I really like my clothes. So I get what she's going through.
Thank you ! I was feeling icky about the FL but dunno what exactly. I strangely feels that the FL is so "full of herself" in twisted way. Like something bad happen and she gonna be like "why its happening, its because of me". No sweetie , that senpai was being put down because he is a jerk, w/o you its gonna happen anyway.
I feel like the FL's personality is really controversial. I don't know for others I, but usually, timid people don't wear revealing clothes because it will put them under the spotlight, and they just don't know how to fare in those types of situation.
