you just put everything i felt about this manhua into words, but i’m still thankful for the creator and their hard work
Not all relationships are going to be depicted as perfect and lovey dovey. You have to understand that they were going to have a baby only a few weeks of knowing each other, and Hyesung lived his life believing he was an alpha. Their relationship was never going to be portrayed in the unrealistic manner that many yaoi mangas do and have all the problems in their relationship magically solved because their was literally no time to develop into that stage of where they have feelings for each other. It's a relationship that involves around wanting what's best for their child while still wanting themselves to also be happy. They don't love/like each other in the traditional sense, but they don't have to in order to be together.
I'm really not sure what you're expecting from a relationship as complicated as theirs. There's all types of relationships out there; this story decided to stray away from the norm of "two people being obsessed with one another" fairytale troupe. What matters is that they're both seemingly content with how their relationship turned out. Also, Hyesung IS a tsundere, it's been obvious from the start.
if you want cuteness...this manga is fully loaded with it...especially byul is just out of this world cutie pie..no doubt
but frankly, if anyone has followed the story life fully... you can understand y i feel this manga sooooooooo unfair!!!
1. the omega left the baby in the hospital and ran away (ok i can understand his feeling y he did that to a little extent - it can be excused)
2. after the alpha brings him back home and talked with him with so much love and seeing his cute baby byul yet..his answer was to ran away??? ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
3. not only he ran away he also tried to have sex with another alpha to boot!!!
4. came back to dojin not bcos he loves him or realizes his mistake but bcos he is bonded and thinks he has no other choice!!
5. Not once i see anywhere he treats dojin as his mate and treats his nicely while being all nice goody-two-shoes with his parents.
6. when he is in heat..he just needs a dick...that's it...he stated that very clearly...again dojin is handy coz he's bonded and head over heels in love with his omega that happens to be his good luck matter closed!!!
7. Reason for accepting to marry Dojin's previous marriage proposal- ch 58- imaging 10yr old byul asking y his mom and dad not married yet & also bcos everyone around them are asking y they are not married - that's the primary reason...mind there is no love or any such crap involved..he still has no feelings for dojin...hez not even a tsundere!!!!
This is quite disappointing in so many levels....the author's previous work "If you hate me that much" was very similar to this story except the seme guy was all bad and rough while the uke was loving and caring...but in the end the seme realized his mistake and the story has sooooo much closure at one point between the two MC's... It was very heartwarming to read... while.... this story is about to end anytime and yet there is no closure between the main MC's even on their wedding day (the omega was threatening to kill him if he kissed him??? i dont know...was he expecting to shake hands with him after the wedding vows like how they do in world summit or something??? i have no idea!!!)
again BYUL is the only redeming charecter i like in this story...
