Nope. The only creepy vibes I get are from the white, purple, red, black and orange hyungs and ofc, Mr. Rose. I don't know why anyone would get creepy vibes from the victim, Ig. But that happens quite often, more often than not. Sadly.

It's not so much savior complex but abject paralyzing fear and guilt. The whole reason they are in this situation is due to his desire for Hyung and wanting a special place at the last minute.
Rightly or wrongly that is what he is thinking and now he doesn't know what to do. He wants to save Hyung but which one is the real one? And as time goes by he becomes closer to the Hyungs and he can't choose.
It is a vicious cycle.
And he thought the only way to save them was to not play the game basically the answer in the War Games movie. But the Hyungs want to play...
