Lol what so frequent? It's only 3-4 pages. Like you said it yourself you faintly recall reading this. There are 4 whole chapters for their background stories and it didn't have any sex scenes at all. It's not fanservice bullshit, they did it literally for serious reasons. Idgaf if you don't want to read it, just annoyed me that you called it "unnecessary, boring str8 sex that adds nothing to the plot" when you dropped it in early chapters.
Ah also everyone's got uncomfortable with the sex scenes. Not only the readers, even the MC, even themselves, that's the point. In the manga it's portrayed as not normal and disgustingly wrong.
