Is this kind of plot a thing in 2019 yet? Like, does someone still like this pushiness in shoujo manga anymore? Should I talk about a new invention called 'feminism'?

these kinda plots are only aimed at 9-14 year olds doe and even when I was feminist in that age range, I never minded these sexist plots because I could tell the difference between reality and fiction

Must be nice, eh? Living inside your own bubble of privilege, being blind and mindless about how things can influence each other. Lazily declaring the disjoint between reality and fiction and blatantly ignoring the connection between them.

Must be nice, being a brainless incorrigible idiot...

wtf does 'lazily declaring the disjoint between reality and fiction' even mean. I don't think you understand that it is called FICTION for a reason simply because it is not reality. That's like saying everyone who enjoys first person shooter games are murderers. Theres absolutely no correlation between liking violent video games and being an actual violent person irl. Same concept for this

It's not just black or white. There is the sense of disbelief and disconnect when a story is told through a medium like manga. On the other hand if the graphics were more realistic and maybe if it were in VR, the line between reality and fiction becomes thinner. But even then, a part of you still knows that it's just a game or it's just a story or whatever
