Why do you hate hetero manga? (if you do)

Tbh its just super boring for me. They all end up being the same prompt. Girl (mostly shy pushovers) meets 2 hot dudes, 1 is hot-headed and borderline abusive and the other is the nice handsome prince. Obviously hot head dude wins the girl and thats it. Honestly one of the only hetero mangas that I REALLY like to this day is Ouran high school club since it broke so many typical shoujou manga barriers. Otherwise I just can't help but wince at the repetitive plots of hetero manga :P

because all of the girls act the same. they're all too emotional and annoying. but in some where the girl is laid back I can handle.

Because the girls/women in shoujo are a caricature of what it means to be an actual woman. They're doormats not only to the men in their life, but to everyone around them. It's deeply irritating and insulting.

Okay but that’s on y’all. There are SO many Hetero manga with strong, amazing female leads, y’all just be reading that same type of manga with the shy pushover.

Name one such manga. Where the chick is the actual lead, not a kickass character in the vicinity of the main characters. And that is an actual shoujo manga. Coz I can list a host of mangas with strong female characters, but they're not shoujo.

Yaoi is on the same shitty level as most hetero mangas, manhwas.

because theyre gay and im not a guy so it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to experience anything they experience while girls in shoujo are relatable on so many levels, main one being the gender, its like 'why do guys like them and not me' sort of thing. and IK its fiction and all but i cant help it.
