Basically someone being transported/ reincarnated into a different world.

An isekai technically has two definitions so.
1. It's when a person dies, and gets reincarnated by a god into a fantasy like world.
2. (Don't know if this counts or not) When a person is summoned into a world (either by accident -Meaning they are not the person that's supposed to be a hero- or on purpose -they are suppose to be the hero) and have to either live on their own or defeat the demon king.

Wait- does this count? He gets transported to another world, but it's shounen ai tho. I've read it ages ago tho so I don't remember much
