Stole her identity. Made herself look like she was the miss of the house after she killed the original owner. I think it should’ve shown on the first few chapters
But there's always a limit on how much you can try look like someone. And they are supposed to live in times when there are emperors so trying to look like someone wouldn't be that easy they would already have to be at least similar for all of this to work out.Please correct me if I misunderstood what you're trying to say. Compare Chapter 1 first page, the girl in blue is our MC and then Chapter 60, they look totally alike. Our MC outer appearance has changed pretty much, hair colour, eye colour etc.
The comment above mine it pretty accurate as well but I think their differences is for the readers benefit, so we prefer the main character going ‘oh she’s so much prettier’ and so we never get them mixed up
