Well, you may see black hair with black hair but rarely ever blonde with blonde. Maybe brunette and blonde.
I always thought it white hair was blonde but on the cover page, all the light coloured ones were actually brown haired! So do blondes really exist in mangas?
Mmm. This does have merit to it. They do be brunette well at least the girls. But the guys who have light hair are almost always blonde on the covers as well.
The real reason why the MC and her fiance aren't together is because they both have blonde hair. This is like manga rules 101: canon ships must have different colored hair.
