As an Asian myself, my mom always told me those who show a lot of skin are insecure about themselves and need everyone's compliments. To me, I never really cared or paid attention to what people wore because it didn't affect me and even when I did look at people's outfits, I always thought "oh cute" or "not my cup of tea" and just went about my day. And because I didn't want to argue with my mom I just nodded but when she judged a girl as "kinda slutty" for wearing a black top that showed a bit of stomach and a cute mini skirt I popped off. It was bullshit to me and i was so angry. Just let her wear what she wants. She's not hurting anyone! She's doing it for herself because it makes her feel good! My mom then proceeded to explain to me that you can look sexy even without showing skin and I agreed but just because someone does show skin doesn't mean they're "slutty" or "insecure". Sometimes the reason is as simple as "it looks cute on me so I'll wear it" God, the way people express themselves is different. Just move on with your life, you don't have to make them feel like shit just because the clothes don't for with your standard. If i want to look conservative and sexy then ill do it. If i want to show skin and look sexy then ill do it. I'll wear whatever I want to make myself satisfied so if you got a problem tell me and I'll debate you lawyer style on why I can whatever I want without anyone's approval
