    i mean... its not like she could just say anything rash. she has to keep the emperors favor lmao. women dont have a lot of power in times like this so she gotta keep her status up. i dont see why yall don't understand her position and just get mad at her. she doesn't know about his feelings for canaria and what he thinks of grace, so why would she stand up for him?

    exactly, thats the point, she chose her status than her child...............and its not even the fact that she didnt stood by him with his feelings to canaria, its the fact that she wasn't even there once throughout Caesar's painful childhood, and then she appears like she had an opinion to his situation.
