I feel like Djun could have done a better job revealing Yuyang's trauma over being broken hearts and being ostracized but you have to remember that he is Gay. Gay in China. Which is a really, really extremely difficult lifestyle to live. You are shamed and beaten just for being yourself and he doesn't want the same for Lihuan who isn't even "gay". He LOVES Lihuan so much that's why it was so difficult for him. And Lihuan knows that, but Yuyang still doesn't want to be together with him.
I don't think you are alone. I stopped liking YuYang a long time ago. He may have a grown man's body but he acts like he's 12 yrs old
I know Yuyang has been treated roughly in a previous relationship but Lihuan has confessed like a million times and the whole "nah he doesn't love me thing" has gotten old fast...feels like the author is just dragging the story out. I don't even like Yuyang anymore LOL
