I honestly don't understand why they think he's shady when he has been straightforward ever since.
Him being straightforward is the only reason why people find him "shady"
-Him lending H his porno -Asking H to be his model -When Taku said "You can use me as much as you want" (or something along those lines) -Taku knowing H's relationship with J
These are the things that are making people feel that taku has "bad vibes" smh. Judging from the newest chapter, the author reveals taku has a condition called Prosopagnosia which may be the the reason of his previous awkward social interactions with H (like taku lending H the porno) But honestly i dont see the problem when he hasn't caused any harm to H so whats the big deal?

I like how Taku hasn't done anything to hurt H but people are calling him shady. Yep, Taku asking H to be his model is definitely shady. Being interested in some one is absolutely shady. Looking someone from behind is super shady too. So far hes been nice and careful with H, more than J has done. J and H have been together for years and we can see that their relationship is still unhealthy and people seem to not care about that. How many more years does it have to take for J and H to heal and properly love each other? It was about time that Taku had to step in and make H feel what actual love is because so far hes been doing great on doing that more than J has
