Hmm... Idk. I'm the opposite of you. I've only started to read more shoujo lately because of the increase of reincarnation stories and badass females mc's lately, but before I was never a big fan of shoujo because most of them were annoying because of how stupid the mc's are, with a few exceptions. This one though I like, except she's been acting stupid ever since she started liking Suho, especially in the last 2 chapters. That was stupid af, not only following some stupid advice but being completely oblivious about stuff. Those are things that piss me off and most mc's in shoujo are like that, even when someone is directly telling them what the deal is they're still like "but I don't think so?" *facepalms*
But in general I've found this pretty interesting.
But yeah, you tend to get pickier the more you read because you get tired of certain tropes and you get more critical about stuff. I think it's because the more you read, the more experienced you get with the genre and the more aware you are of what makes a good story =)
I believe the webtoon is just something that helps connect to a person and explore realistic-fiction topics that relate to an audience especially about insecurities in a new point of view. You might dislike it because you can't relate to the issues as much or you don't have an interest in the topic and wish to explore it.
am i the only one who thinks this is boring and cliche? if it was me 3 years ago, i would be crazy about this webtoon because i was a sucker for shoujo but now that ive read many mangas/manhwas/manhua with different genres and unique plots, im finding this really cringy.
that's just an opinion, a SUBJECTIVE OPINION. (why am i hearing matpat's voice)
P.S i totally ship Suho with Seojun. im a fujoshi trash, i cant help it.
