I didn't read the novel or manhua raws. I just read the English novel translation.

I'm so fcking devoted, I tracked down the novel for this and finished all 158 translated chapters (which are long btw) in 2 days (2 cos i sleep a lot). Now I'm on the drama which I'll be watching slowly just cause.
IMO the manhua portrays the characters better than the drama. Don't @ me but although the drama isn't bad, Bai Yu just doesn't fit Han Chen's role. Just my opinion though. And the fact that they changed the cases a bit also bugged me so I'm looking forward to finishing the manhua since it's following the novel despite skipping a bunch of details.
