Readers have known that months ago. And as others have stated, this story was meant to be read through the character's journey, not the ending.
I gotta say, when I first knew about this, it was still on chapter 9 and I was furious. Now that I see how much she's grown and how many people have actually cared for her in this reality, I am more interested on how she chooses her own destiny and the decisions she makes for herself. Fuck the damn romance and boys, they are not relevant to my home girl's life.
