Nah, he had his memories of his previous life, but only vaguely remembers the lanterns light from the god. He later remembered the god because of some stuff though.
i like this kind of isekai setting, have modern knowledge but zero past life memories...and its good without meeting a god or goddess cause i like slow everyday life better than full action...
