I like all the characters and Lord thank you! You really can't justify any of the sort jowoon has done. I use to always try and reason why jowoon was like this or that, but at this point ... I'm not sure. If he grows up and starts acting mature, then their relationship could possibly work. But the current state it's in as of now? It's just toxic :/
You gotta love when Joowon fans start blaming Haesoo for being treated as shit and think he is the one who should grow up.
I think everybody agrees that Haesoo needs to be the one to stop Joowon's bullshit because clearly Joowon is as dense as a door and not the smartest tool in box. Leaving for Joowon to realize that Joowon self harm and has shrunk into a void existence is not something that never will happen.
However, any analysis of this relationship blaming Haesoo for his own misery has to be at least honest in acknowledge the clear imbalance of power between them. Watch the flashbacks, it's Joowon who seduces Haesoo, it's Joowon who chases Haesoo, Joowon who, unwillingly or not, defines their game and that they will be in a booty call type of relationship...Haesoo is in love with Joowon and he hears Haesoo telling him not to fall in love with him because he won't. EVERYBODY WANTS HAESOO TO GROW THE BALLS TO PUSH JOOWON OUT but the interesting thing is that when he finally does it people are literally calling him a 'hostile passive aggressive bitch'. The guy can't win.... If he submits like the bitch that Joowon wants him to be, he suffers, if he speaks out he is a hostile bitch. All that so Joowon, the poor baby, doesn't look the fucking asshole that he is. This is the oldest tactic in yaoi. When your favorite character is a jerk and you have no excuses for this behavior, the only way to make him look better is to bring down the others around him.
Haesoo is a pushover. He needs to mature but if you miss the 'You never heard a word I say', if you miss all the times Haesso spoke and Joowon ignored and then you come calling Haesoo a hostile bitch just because he finally put your precious Joowon on his place, please take an exit turn.
This is not an equally balanced relationship. If you don't see Joowon dominance on it from start and you think Haesoo is to blame for not being the strong 'bitch' who should have punched Joowon years ago, go ahead.
