So, I'm gonna agree with you saying that they will make this more dramatic and then add the 'comforting bertia' scene after the incident in the manga where they 'fought' in a way.

Anyways, it’s still clear to me what happened in the novel. First the thing about Bertia not wanting help from Cecil didn’t happen in the novel, and now with the latest update, With bertia falling down the stairs also didn’t happen in the novel.
Some thing deviated from the novel so I think it’s good to say it will have some new content from the novel.
