Actually (in real life at least...), doing this has a high chance to destroy their relationship. It's true that Siyeon is too guarded, but going behind his back and looking at his past against his will, is definitely not the right way to go. In a healthy relationship, you should wait for the other to be ready to talk. If they are not ready, it means they do not trust you (enough) yet, or are still too anxious and frightened, and going behind their back is definitely not going to make them trust you more.... Not only this, but what message does this give to the partner? The message that their privacy is not respected, that their feelings and will are not important.
I do agree that Taekyung is a killer in bed though ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

Yup, this is yaoi, where 95-99% of the time reality doesn't apply. Lol...Taek is the boss of specialized hitmen. You think privacy is an issue? Siyeon is going to learn real quick keeping secrets from your boss aka boyfriend that lives a really dangerous lifestyle isn't a very good idea. I am sure there are still many hidden goodie layers we need to connect the dots. I'm not saying it is the best course of action for Teak to take but rather it will get the ball rolling. They need to hit real thick brick walls at full speed ahead to get to a better place in their relationship because somethings are wrong with both. Something has to give...

True, it is fiction after all. However, maybe it's just for me lol? But when characters react in a really unrealistic way, it bugs me a lot XD Just like when some guy gets raped and then fall in love with his rapist, in those good old yaoiiiiii. But I noticed that in most modern manwhas, this trope is not often used anymore, and is often replaced by much more realistic and relatable reactions (And frankly, it's for the best). Which is precisely why my answer was reality-based.
I didn't mean to be a kill-joy or anything, sorry. I tend to take things a bit too seriously sometimes ( ̄∇ ̄") I guess it's one of my flaws.

I don't know about you but I have stuff I wouldn't like my partner to know in the first months of our relationship until I feel comfortable enough to talk about it. And none are stuff related to the partner. So no cheating or a double-life or any other shit that breaks my partner's trust. Only stuff I feel ashamed about or frightened.
I will give you a really extreme example, which does not apply to me but can definitely apply to someone else. If I had been raped in my childhood, or molested, I sure as well would like to tell my partner about it when I feel ready and comfortable about it. And it's definitely not something I would like my partner to find out on his own by violating my privacy and running a background check on me.
This is just my own opinion, and I get if you don't feel the same about it, but people are not the possession of their partners. They still have the right to have their privacy and decisions respected. I know it's arguable and some people believe that you shouldn't hide ANYTHING when you are in a relationship, and I totally respect that and understand where it's coming from. I still disagree, and maybe it's just because of my own issues, but that's what I feel about it. It's not about acting like a child or leading a double-life or any other shit like that. ://

Um, true enough But this isn't about rape. I have in no way romanticised rape nor has Teak raped Siyeon, unless I missed this somewhere? Let's not be hypocrites after all because we still read a lot of fiction here that range from marginal to highly questionable ethics, morally etc. I mean in real life do we really want to date Siyeon a hired hitman? Do we really want to date Teak, boss of many supernatural killers? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

No need to apologize ever for sharing your opinion especially on my opinion. You're not a
killjoy or anything of the sort. You are right. I myself have stopped reading some that I just cannot pretend to agree with for the sake of yaoi. (which I love) ^^'...Let's say I see your point but by that same token, Siyeon's behavior can also destroy the relationship. He's constantly treating Teak like crap and bad mouthing him while keeping secrets. That is why I said both aren't completely right. Both have issues. In real life two killers in a relationship is a slippery slope. I believe in real life a boss and his hired killer wouldn't even get to this stage. Siyeon would have probably been killed for his failed mission and the fact that he's involved with him. The mafia which I personally know a couple of things about, would not accept such a thing...Not a a flaw at all honey. Besides I over analyze sometimes as you can see. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
So he might be a bit possessive and off kilter? Makes him sexier to me! ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ I hope he digs into Siyeon's past too. He needs to find out the truth otherwise I believe their relationship will go nowhere. Siyeon is too guarded and and skeptical of every little thing Taek does romantically. No progression so everything has to come out. Lets not forget Siyeon is a hired hitman and Teak is the boss. No matter what, a liability is a liability...Taek is a killer in bed! I need me one of him! ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
