Maybe it is to show that if you change your way when dealing with a problem things will be different ╮(￣▽￣)╭
It makes no sense to me when the character goes back in time but when it's a sould from another world that went into another person's body, I can somewhat tolerate it especially if the original body owner was evil. So it makes sense that they were treated badly in the past and the new soul doesn't hold a grudge because it wasn't done to it and the original body owner got that coming for them...
I have so many opinions about isekai and reincarnation haha I read this genre like it's my holy book
Why is it a trend for female MCs in reincarnation stories to fall again for their killers/past abusers? It ruins everything >:T
