Well, the second volume is pretty smutty. They both have the hots for each other. We get it. There is not much (emotional) progress in their relationship. I expected them to be together at this point and figuring out how a relationship is working. But nope. I thought the first chapter was a good start, the second wasn't that bad either I guess, but now the third one ... Jesus. We get it. Those pheromones are strong LOL. I wonder if the author is planning a third volume and that's why the progress is so slow. So to answer your question: I would wait. If you know what they are saying it gets a bit more depth. So don't just look at the images.
I love this!! But the second volume is a bit disappointing so far. Storywise it goes around in circles ...
