Personally, Taku is my favorite character. Hell, I like him more than I like the main character, and that says a lot. I think he's a very intriguing character, and I also think that he and haesoo are endgame.
But, the way I see it, this could go a few ways:
A.) Taku and Haesoo get together after Joowon and Haesoo talk out their emotions, come to terms with the past being the past, and move onto healthier relationships.
B.) Both Joowon and Haesoo start to like taku. This feels like a reach, but I dont think taku is the type of person to care that they're (h & j) brothers, they barely care. So, if he finds Joowon interesting, he's going to slide.
C.) Taku and Haesoo dont get together, and only serves as a sort of proxy to get rid of the miscommunications between H&J. H&J separate, but get together a few years later after they've had time to be to themselves.
I dont really care, I love the story either way but Taku will always be my favorite, regardless of the ending the author writes. Also, these are my own theories. I just put them here to have a discussion ( a non-hostile one) because everybody else seems to be losing their minds.
Personally the whole step brother love is not my thing. Option A is my favorite one and...well drama +drama + drama = chaos. Either way its still fun to watch

Honestly, the stepbrother forbidden romance is abolayed out yaoi trope but I'm here for the angst and drama and indecisiveness lmao
