This is the story, without the flashbacks in-between:
Present Candy (Suhyeok) breaks up with Jinwoo and it's been over a month now (this is what it says in ch1). Jinwoo is still not over it. High School Candy calls him and apparently he's from 10 yrs from the past. Jinwoo's not fond of the constant reminder of his break up and what Candy was back in their high school days because it hurts like hell so he keeps Candy at arms length.
HS Candy suspects something (a little upset but mostly curious imo) but doesn't push it. Later on, HS Candy goes on a walk and meets up with an old friend who knows Present Candy, asking why he hasn't contacted anyone for an entire month now. HS Candy sorta realises something and then heads back to Jinwoo's apartment. He shoots a text to Jinwoo who's at work, asking when he's coming home. Jinwoo reluctantly heads back only to find that HS Candy kept the door shut from the other side. "Hyung, did you know... since a month ago, the 'me' in this time--" HS Candy gets cut off midway his sentence and is replaced by College Candy (Suhyeok from 5 years ago, easily distinguishable cuz of his piercings).
Jinwoo theorises that HS Candy goes back to his time if he tells him the truth about the break up or, I assume, comes to the conclusion about the disappearance. Anyway, it seems that C Candy doesn't quite remember what happened to HS Candy until Jinwoo talked to him about it (ch10 candy said 'was it because of what you just told me? it feels like i've already seen you like this before')--not sure if he was flirting or he was telling the truth tho lol.
Later on, Jinwoo sorta comes into conclusion that if he tells past Candy about their break up, they'll go back to their current time. He sorta doesn't want to get his Present Candy back because that would mean things would be over again. I'm assuming Jinwoo doesn't wanna give C Candy up. Jinwoo files for a leave to spend more time with C Candy, even going shopping to give anything C Candy wants. Midway, his boss from work sorta sees them in the supermarket store and confronts him about it later, wondering why Jinwoo would suddenly file a leave.
Anyway, Jinwoo gets a call from an old friend Minjae who mentions to Jinwoo that it's been over a month since Present Candy called anyone, no one's been in contact with him for a long while. Jinwoo thinks to himself, "One month? But it's only been around a week since the Suhyeok from the past first came here. If the you from this timeline hasn't been in touch with anyone then where on earth are you?"
THE TIMELINE
>one month since their breakup
>after one month, HS Candy pops outta nowhere
>been an entire week of jinwoo taking care of HS Candy and C Candy
>been a month since anyone came to contact with Present Candy
ergo, Present Candy is mia for about an entire month and a week
no contact with anyone in one month = he disappeared right after the breakup
