She knows Rakan is her father, but she refuses to acknowledge him. She hates him to his core.
Rakan also found out Maomao is his daughter when she was 5-ish. Rakan's past is kinda sad (although when it comes to his disastrous love life, he can also be blamed because of the decisions he made) but he didn't realize he had a daughter until he met Maomao outside her pharmacy. He tried to take her many, many, many times but the head lady of the brothel always beat him up and kicked him to the curb. He never really abandoned her. In fact, right now, he's using Jinshi to meet her because he really loves her but she hates him, so he can never really get the chance.
