Can't really say that they can stay together because of their different age and life line. The jellyfish lived for so long that he and the mother's brother fell inlove. Rememner the guy that owns the jellyfish before died and then the seme came to save him. So in my conclusion, the two can stay together, but the jellyfish will be left behind again like always and this cycle will continue until the jellyfish reaches rhe end og his life. Maybe find another guy 'cause the jellyfish always forget people. Like the mom.

That’s exactly what I was thinking! Although Im fine with endings with couples that don’t stay together I want these two to be happy.
I mean this is fantasy so I hope there’s something like another creature or other supernatural thing that will grant them the wish to be together.
Your message opened my eyes but hopefully if he stays as a human his span will be the same as the seme. Maybe he can only live long as a jellyfish but if he can be a human permently that issue will hopefully not happen.
