Yes, as of the end of volume 8, they don’t live together. The reason is simple, that is because Katsuragi is now a free man. He’s no longer a servant and doesn’t belong to any house anymore. Because there is no way for them to be officially married, he cannot return to Kuze’s house unless he works for them again (as a servant). I would assume that both Akihito and Katsuragi don’t want this arrangement so they are happy with Katsuragi living somewhere else. I can’t think of any reason why they can only see each other several times a month like you said. Despite not living together, Katsuragi is still an important businessman who works with Ishizaki, so he would still have an influence to both families and I’m sure Akihito will welcome his presence and influence on nurturing the baby Kuze (sorry forgot his name). That’s probably what they mean by raising him together.

Forgot to mention, Kiku is the former Kuze’s head maid who used to protect Katsuragi’s birth paper and she retired several years ago due to her health. Katsuragi is very fond of Kiku and he owns her a lot, so he probably moves in to take care of her. He’s no longer a servant.

I'm also pretty sure they will meet a lot cuz they will be raising Nao (Aki's adopted son). And after Nao is independent and can become the head of the family, Aki finally can move to Katsuragi and live together. Besides, if I remember correctly, Aki told that he has a room for himself at Kiku's house. So he will be visiting Katsu a lot
